A supportive SEN school in Camden is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant you will be working in the Inclusion department, supporting children with SEN with autism (ASD), a background in trauma and speech, language, and communication (SLCN). Some pupils are non-verbal, so ideally you’ll be comfortable using Makaton, PECs, Symbols or similar communication methods.

• £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will have:

• A resilient attitude and readiness to learn
• Ideally, a background/qualification in psychology or the mental health field
• Experience in support special needs like autism (ASD), trauma and speech, language, and communication (SLCN).
• A valid DBS / police check
