An Ofsted rated Good school in Redbridge are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants. As a SEN Teaching Assistant your role will be supporting children with Autism and Challenging behaviour. The School are looking for both KS1 and KS2 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD needs. You will carry out some intervention work outside of the class but the school does try to adopt an inclusive approach to learning, so you will try as much as possible to make the work accessible. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have strong SEN experience, particularly working with ASD needs. Experience working with non verbal children is beneficial but not necessary as the children have a rename of needs.

Work well in a team
Have a positive attitude
Have good experience working one-to-one and in groups
